Recent events have brought issues surrounding racism to the forefront in our community, churches, and schools. There is a need for Lutheran educators to create a space for students, teachers, and parents to discuss the problems and answers to racism. Part 1: Christians recognize racism as sin; however, we often lack comprehension of the scope of the problem. This lack of understanding does not excuse us from facing the issue in our churches, schools, and classrooms. What do we need to know about racism and how it impacts learning and ministry?
