What can LEA do for you?

I have pondered these words for the past 25 years as I volunteered for LEA in many capacities. When I joined the staff in July, those words became my unofficial motto.

In the Winter 2021 Shaping the Future, I encouraged you to look at our new platform LEAconnects. This changes almost daily as we add resources to assist your ministry. There is something for everyone no matter what your role or ministry. Now, I encourage you to utilize two new resources.

The first is Words on Wednesday. These short videos offer words of encouragement meant for you as you minister to the precious children God has entrusted to you. We send a link to members every Wednesday morning, or you can find it yourself at LEAconnects. Various supporters of Lutheran education share their thoughts designed to equip and affirm you and your ministry. If you haven’t viewed a WOW, take a moment to relax and watch one.

The second new resource is our redesigned website, where you will find information about your professional organization. Did you know we have a blog? LEAven provides timely thoughts on a variety of topics by a variety of authors. Did you know you can request prayers? Each Monday, when our staff meets, we take time to pray for all of you, but especially for those who have needs. Do you need to find information about the convocation or a conference? Are you looking for information about the Lutheran Junior Honor Association? What about purchasing items from LEA? Need to manage your membership? It’s all easy to find on the new website.

LEA constantly strives to develop new resources. If you have an idea or a resource to share, please contact us at lea@lea.org. We are here for you and want to know, “What can LEA do for you?”
